Brooklyn has turned 3! We were so excited to throw a little party for her with her friends, and plans were made. Unfortunately in life, things do not always go as planned. But did this reality have to come to light on her Birthday??
Good idea #1- We start the fun in the neighborhood pool.
Bad idea #1- We leave our front door unlocked and our keys inside.
Good idea #2- We serve lunch underneath the cabana at the neighborhood park
Bad idea #2- We let real estate agents take their clients through our house while we are out.
Good idea #3- We bring the gig to our house for cake and ice cream.
Bad idea #3- The agents locked us out of our house...and were out of the immediate area.
The party abruptly ends! We do not get back into our house for another 30 minutes.
We were so fortunate to have the Edingtons come to our rescue while we waited for things to get sorted out, and help us finish the final part of her party!
We sincerely apologize to those who had to witness this temporary embarrassment, and are glad to those who came over the following day to help us eat all of that cake and ice cream!
This is one Birthday I'm sure Brooklyn won't remember, but also one Brett and I will NEVER forget!!
